Daily Details is a series of quick sketches I create to capture and explore new architectural details and project ideas. Each sketch represents a moment of inspiration, a concept to be refined and integrated into my ongoing work. I believe that architecture is an evolving discipline, one that thrives on the continuous interplay of existing projects and new insights. By combining and enhancing what has come before, we can create innovative and impactful designs. Studio Sketchbooks
I use a sketchbook because to me architecture is a visual literacy. I draw through section, plan, and elevation as a means of note taking while I am in a space. This allows me to remember the qualitative aspects of the space. To me sketching is a practice which allows me to focus on the fundamentals of architecture. The sketchbook serves as a comfort zone for exploration and experimentation. The technical purpose of the sketchbook is to provide me with an anxiety free stage to explore image making
